Arrived on time, fitted, it worked; hopefully longer than the previous one which came with my Neff oven. Cant comment whether it will last 1000 hours; the original Philips didnt as it lasted 18 months.

Does what an oven bulb should!
Lights up, so I can see what I've burnt in the oven.
Supplier (TDSpares) was efficient, prompt and inexpensive.

The bags arrived promptly etc. so no problem there. They seem to work ok, and I have not noticed any sign of leakage inside machine. However, I used one of the original Bosch bags that came with the machine first and have to say my impression is that the original is a superior bag. Will be using up the paper ones, because they are ok, but before my next purchase will check the difference in price to help me decide if the Bosch bag is worth the extra dosh!

Inexpensive for a reason, 9 April 2011

Delivery was prompt. I bought these for our Bosch Terrossa 1700W vacuum cleaner, as the original bags can be hard to find, and they are not cheap. Whilst these work, there is a reason they are cheaper than the Bosch originals. They are simply far less effective. Suction power is noticeably lower, and you can feel the difference when putting your hand over the suction hose. I switched back to an original bag to double check, and sure enough, the seals were better and the vacuum level increased dramatically. I've used most of the bags in the pack, and they all display the same characteristic : vacuum 'leak' and low suction, with the suction power dial on maximum on the Terrossa with these bags barely achieving the same level as less than half power on an original Bosch bag. I won't be re-ordering these bags, and will pay for Bosch original bags next time.

I have a large, tall hedge which I maintain with a petrol powered hedge clipper. However, I've always found it very difficult to get to the higher parts of the hedge, and using a ladder is hard work and precarious. I pondered for a long time on buying a petrol powered long reach trimmer, but they cost about £300, and it's only a small amount of hedge that I can't reach. So, after a lot of deliberatiion, and encouraged by the reviews here, I bought the flymo.

As you'd expect, it's no where near as powerful as a petrol trimmer. However, it has coped pretty well overall. It stuggles with the laurel parts of the hedge, which is very thick and green, but for other less dense parts it does very well. Even though the battery is on a belt (which is a clever idea), it's still pretty weighty when you're leaning over, but you can rest it against your hip to take some of the weight. It's well enough made and the articulating head is easy to adjust to find the right angle.

So overall I'm pleased enough to give it 5 stars, as it does the job I had in mind. If you had a fairly small hedge, this trimmer might be enough on its own to cope with the whole job. For me, it's a very good complement to a petrol timmer to get to those few, hard to reach spots.

I spent some time looking around for a long reach , battery hedge cutter. I even purchased another but the battery was too smal for such a job. The Sabre is excellent nice design , reach is great for about an 8 foot hedge with the ability to cut the top with the easily flexible head and unlike most a decent size cutting blade. This is possible because of the seperate and large battery that you can wear seperately. I used it on a large hedge and it coped easily, if a little heavy after a while .
Subsequently have had to return the charger and be careful with the blade section undoing slightly and disconnecting , dealer tells me they see a few that are 'broken' but just push it back in and lock it and away you go ! Still a great buy .

We thought we were ordering what we had ordered previously, and that was Bosch type G XL vacuum cleaner bags.

What did we get?

We did not realise that your organisation used "subis" to do your work for you.

We got 1 bag of Unifit yes unifit bags and 1 bag of Home spare something or other. Obviously your subi was having a clear out of his bottom draw, and this is not what we ordered.

No not at all happy, this is the problem with buying on the web through a brand we trust only to find out that we are being stuffed with something we did not want.

How do we send it back please and then get what we ordered?

My little boy follows his Daddy around when he's doing DIY and mimicks him so when he got this he was just delighted. Everything in it is durable yet so child friendly (soft plastic, rounded corners etc). The drill works yet isn't too noisy as to scare a toddler. The case isn't too heavy either so my 2-year can carry it about without any bother. Would definately recommend this.
